So here is a little follow up, if you will, to the story of my life. As you read in the last blog entry, things with my practicum were not going so well. Thankfully my professor went to the head of the University and arranged a meeting for us this morning at 9:30 (there went my sleeping in!). I head down to the office feeling defeated already-my mind has been spinning since Thursday and my motivation has been lost. Needless to say there hasn’t been much productivity because I have had no idea if I was even able to continue with this degree. (more…)

Wow-my head hurts-it has never stopped for the past two weeks! I haven’t been blogging much because there simply hasn’t been time-I have never been more busy in the past two months than in my life-really! I have an inbox of 109 unread emails that await me. I only go to check for anything that is SUPER MUST READ NOW and I read it, then delete or leave it for a response and then go back to work. It has been such a difficult two months especially with the school teaching. (more…)

And so does the stuffed up nose might I add. I cannot believe that it has already been 8 days and I am STILL suffering from a congested nose! I thought it was going to go away but noooooooo-I still have to rely on my Otrivin to get me through the day-but the good thing is that I can now go about 12 hours without it. It has been hard because I am trying to ween myself off the stuff so I don’t get too reliant on it-so far it has been ok, but I am thinking I have or had a sinus infection because this is going on for too long. When my nose gets plugged up again, I get these harsh migraines from the pressure-so needless to say, I have been feeling tired as heck once again.

As I sit here, after making hot chocolate that I couldn’t even taste and therefore leaving it to sit on the counter untouched, my head is feeling like 100 pounds and my body, double. Yes, it happened-finally after about 2 years, those little cold bugs made their way in! Who would have guessed but I shouldn’t have been surprised because I used to always get sick around the end of October-early November every year. This came quite out of the blue actually-even though it was pretty expected since I am around snotty nosed kids all day-but would you believe that they haven’t been all that snotty?? (more…)

Who could imagine that October has already come to us?? All I know is that I remember back at the end of August when I was saying, “OMG, when school starts I will be soooooooooo tired and soooooooo busy-and that is only in 2 weeks!!”. Now it has been close to a month later and I have been pretty tired but extremely busy!! I haven’t had the chance to sit and just READ on the internet anymore-I get my emails, read them and then have to plan out when I can respond to the big ones. Don’t get me wrong, I LOOOOOOOOVE me some big emails so I always make sure to read those first! I just feel bad for the people on the other end who are having to wait over a week to get them! (more…)
