So I have joined facebook and really LOVE it-it took me a long time to get up on Myspace and after about a year I did, but honestly, I haven’t been all that excited about it—to many things going on and silly pages to load up on dial up computer so either way, I was never a fan of it…but facebook?? WOW-no WONDER people are nuts about it…I love that you can find your old highschool friends and chat a bit with them and see their pictures-my how old we have all become! haha I had always wondered what happened to most of them and now I am slowly finding out that not all of them are married with 10 kids by now! Some have not yet been married (whew less pressure of me! lol), some have been married and divorced, some have kidlets, others are just as crazy as they were in highschool and some well….are interesting!!

Either way I am having a great time there and have to be REALLY careful that I don’t end up staying online too long-it could be easy because that facebook is ALWAYS hopping and going fast and someone is always posting a note to you or tagging you….facebook TOTALLY rocks! Woo!

Years ago I know I tried some sort of Vietnemese noodle soup bowl and thought it was disgusting-then it came with a plate or bean sprouts (which I used to hate at the time) and a sprig of Cilantro (still hate it) and I thought the whole idea was nasty. Since then I haven’t really done anything “Vietnemese” other than spring rolls. I met up with Donna the other day so that I could read over her transcript from her psychic reading because I was so curious to see what was said to her….it was good to see her and the little ones again (who get cuter EVERY time!!) and it was a way to prove to her that this time it didn’t take me 6 months to see her! lol (more…)

Forget about bills in the mail, this time I got MONEY in the mail-yes, every May we get darn excited about getting tax returns (or depressed about having to pay money back!) but this year I got SUPER excited. For the past 3 years in a row I have had money back on my tax returns which is great. I have never had to pay out any money because I don’t make THAT much to begin with anyways….still though-my first return was something like $1200 and then my 2nd return was something like $770 and this year’s return was….daaaadadaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah…. I must admit that I love Staples for any kind of stationary or office stuff-whenever I go and temp, I always drool looking through the big stationary catalogues that the receptionist orders from. Maybe it is the hidden teacher in me, but nobody gets a bigger kick from going out school supply shopping in August than I do! lol So with the set up of the new place, I have been going to practically EVERY stationary store to look for items such as desks, chairs and anything in between. I had my eye on a desk at Staples which was $300.00-it was a nice little thing but of course that amount of money only buys you fake wood desks…then I went to a store that sells unpainted wood desks and those cost 2 times as much which was nuts. I needed the right type of desk though-not too small, not too wide or boxy, and one that had some drawers would be nice.
