Ok I have always known the magic of ebay and online shopping-I don’t get to do it that often nowadays because I just don’t…of course, when I have access to high speed internet and am getting paid to practically do nothing all day, THAT is when online shopping is cool. However, at some of these offices where I temp, they don’t let you get on yahoo mail or ebay or any of the REALLY cool places. Lemme just say that you know Russ is a genious techie-why? Because he has programmed his sites (the forums and blogs) to be seen no matter which computer you are on…so basically, the filters don’t block them and I actually can have something to read at work…THANK YOU!!! Who can believe that it has been just over 10 years since the death of Diana, Princess of Wales? I remember the day it happened. Life stood still-the same way it did when my uncle passed away. 10 years have gone by sooooooooo incredibly fast though. What a loss to the world but everyone still remembers Diana. Since then I have collected and purchased SOOOOOOOOOO many books on her that I have a huge collection. I don’t really buy any new books of Diana because really, what is there to be NEW about? I do have the book written by her bodyguard who was in the crash with her yet I have never found time to read it. Almost all of the other books have been read through by this time. (more…)

I guess I never got around to posting about my love of Coco Brooks, but it is a good thing I have a had a year to try out their pizzas and such so I can have a better opinion of it. Purdy’s for a year!

Today was my first ever dive in to bowling-yes, I have never been bowling in my life or have even been in a bowling center. Sure, I have seen it on tv and so forth, it seemed to be a lot of fun but I never thought much of doing it. My coworker invited myself and Russ to her 50th birthday party TODAY at the bowling alley. I thought it would be a fun way for me to try something new but was leary about overusing my arm too much. Thankfully I had my Chiropractor appointment yesterday and he gave me the thumbs up to try it out! (more…)

I have been meaning to post this blog entry for literally over 5 months-but never got around to it. During the summer when I had to do a mystery shop in the FAAAAAAR South of the city, I had to be in an area that has the BEST Safeway ever…and is close to a very ritzy area. Well the houses I saw there were breath-taking-almost like being in Hollywood or California. I was so stunned by the houses that I had to stop and try to take pictures with my camera phone. I just feel sorry for those who were IN the house at the time, watching me stand and gape with my mouth wide open at how AMAZING their houses were: (more…)

Just popping in real quick as I eat my awesome lunch and have discovered something SO tasty, it must be shared. Want a good lunch? Try marinading some random veggies with Italian dressing for a night-then scoop them on your plate. Next, go to Sobey’s for their freshly made Chicken Cordon Bleu’s-heat them up…and finally, pan fry some freshly cut mushrooms in butter. Once they are ready to go-add them to your Cordon Bleu with your veggies as a side.When you cut IN to your chicken, the cheese will oooooooze out therefore, mixing together with the sliced mushrooms and you NOW have mushroom cheese sauce! Is THAT not cool and wild all at the same time?? haha.

Too bad I ate most of my dish to post a picture..sigh…but stay tuned as my famous Enchiladas will be coming to this blog-picture, recipe and ALL the good stuff….

I was over at London Drugs today for the sole purpose of looking for a magazine in order to get a code to enter it for a free lipstick, and whaddaya know..I forgot about it! haha Totally expected when you stick me in a store! I was strolling through the hand cream section when I stopped to sniff out a few. I have lots of hand cream and SWEAR by the Gardener’s Dream hand cream as well as BAG BALM cream (sounds gross, smells worse-but does the trick!), but I noticed something different! (more…)
